Job Summary
The Data Analyst will leverage expertise in data warehousing and analytics tools to manage, analyze, and present data insights that contribute to organizational goals, particularly within the insurance sector. Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize data warehousing using Microsoft SQL Data Warehouse/Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL Server.

- Handle integration and data loading processes from various internal systems and external sources using tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or APIs.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of data quality, governance, and lifecycle management best practices.
- Create insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI for data-driven business decision-making.
- Coordinate with offshore delivery teams to ensure project success through excellent communication and project management skills.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Over 4 years of data analyst experience, with some experience in the insurance domain.
- Expertise in Microsoft data tools including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing and SQL querying.
- Skills:
- Strong data visualization skills using Power BI.
- Experience with data integrations and ETL processes from diverse sources.
- Familiarity with AI technologies such as Python or Azure Machine Learning for advanced analytics.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate offshore teams effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications like Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or Snowflake SnowPro would be a plus.
- Understanding of insurance data including policies, premiums, claims, and risk for industry-specific analytics.
