<p><b>About the Role</b></p>
<p>MoEngage is seeking a highly experienced and passionate <b>Senior Consultant - Email</b></p>
<p><b>Deliverability</b> to join our team. You will be responsible for helping our clients optimize their</p>
<p>email programs for maximum deliverability and engagement, ensuring their messages reach</p>
<p>the inbox and drive results.</p>
<p>You will work directly with high-profile clients, providing strategic guidance, troubleshooting</p>
<p>deliverability issues, and implementing best practices to enhance their overall emailperformance. You will be responsible for the complete email deliverability lifecycle for our</p>
<p>clients, encompassing everything from optimizing initial email setup and executing effective</p>
<p>warm-up and migration strategies to conducting regular audits and proactively engaging to</p>
<p>ensure their email marketing programs achieve maximum effectiveness.</p>
<p><b>Roles & Responsibilities</b></p>
<p><b>Strategic Consulting</b></p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Act as a trusted advisor to clients on all aspects of email deliverability, providing</p>
<p>proactive recommendations and guidance to improve their email performance.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Develop and implement comprehensive deliverability strategies tailored to individual</p>
<p>client needs and business objectives.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Conduct thorough audits of customer’s email programs, including infrastructure,</p>
<p>authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), list management practices, and</p>
<p>content quality.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and algorithm changes</p>
<p>related to email deliverability, and communicate them effectively to clients and</p>
<p>internal teams.</p>
<p><b>Problem Solving & Troubleshooting</b></p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Identify and diagnose deliverability issues and engage with the respective mailbox</p>
<p>provider support.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Analyze email data and metrics to identify root causes of deliverability problems and</p>
<p>implement corrective actions.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Work closely with ISPs, blacklist providers, and other relevant parties to resolve</p>
<p>deliverability challenges.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Develop and implement monitoring strategies to proactively identify and address</p>
<p>potential deliverability issues.</p>
<p><b>Client Onboarding & Training</b></p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Onboard new clients to the MoEngage platform, providing training and guidance on</p>
<p>best practices for email deliverability.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to educate clients on key</p>
<p>deliverability concepts and strategies.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Act as a point of contact for clients with questions or concerns related to email</p>
<p>deliverability.</p>
<p><b>Collaboration & Advocacy</b></p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Collaborate with internal teams, including Custom Success, Implementation, Support,</p>
<p>and Product, to ensure a seamless client experience.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Advocate for client needs and feedback within the organization to improve our</p>
<p>platform and services.●</p>
<p>Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge base articles for the</p>
<p>Customer Success team.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Collaborate with product and engineering to build the best-in-class email platform.</p>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Extensive Email Deliverability Experience:</b> Minimum 5+ years of experience in</p>
<p>email deliverability with a strong focus on managing large-scale accounts.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Deep Technical Understanding:</b> Comprehensive understanding of email protocols,</p>
<p>authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), IP reputation, list management best</p>
<p>practices, and spam filtering technologies.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Strong Analytical Skills:</b> Ability to analyze email data and metrics to identify trends,</p>
<p>diagnose issues, and develop effective solutions.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Excellent Communication Skills:</b> Excellent verbal and written communication skills,</p>
<p>with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Client-Facing Experience:</b> Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients</p>
<p>and act as a trusted advisor.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Problem-Solving Skills:</b> Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work</p>
<p>independently to resolve complex issues.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Industry Knowledge:</b> In-depth knowledge of the email marketing ecosystem,</p>
<p>including ISPs, ESPs, and blacklist providers and changes as they come.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p><b>Experience with Email Marketing Platforms:</b> Experience working with various</p>
<p>email marketing platforms (ESPs) and marketing automation tools, preferably</p>
<p>including MoEngage.</p>
<p><b>Bonus:</b></p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Experience with data analysis tools like Tableau, Python, etc.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Certifications related to email deliverability.</p>
<p>●</p>
<p>Experience in PMTA, SendGrid, and Amazon SES.</p>
