This role will be responsible for day to day operations and functioning of the F&A team and managing the external agencies related to F&A. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Audit <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Managing operations of accounts department.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">To assist in timely and accurate month end book and year end book closure and provide technical support to accounts and finance team.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Ensuring compliance with auditing standards, accounting standards and various other laws as applicable to the entity being audited.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Preparation of financial statements including cash flow statement complying IND-AS including notes to accounts.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Should have brief knowledge in company internal Audit across all functions.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Perform audit of internal processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Monitor, lead and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls as well as adequacy of internal financial controls.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Coordinating and successfully concluding internal and statutory audits.</li> </ul>   Compliances <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Responsible for the overall Taxation function (Direct and Indirect).</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Create and establish annual Tax function objectives that align with the Company’s growth plans. Co-develop the tax strategy with the CFO, optimize tax liabilities at the group level, build and deploy an efficient tax planning, monitor and improve the efficiencies continuously.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">In charge of complete tax compliance, tax rates across various applicable laws, HSN classification, computations including transfer pricing between group entities domestic and international, timely remittances, deposits, periodic timely filings, various reconciliations (Books vs Tax records, Sales Ledger vs E-Way bill, company records vs counterparty (like vendor) records etc).</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">In charge of various audits (Tax audit per IT Act + Transfer Pricing audit, GST Departmental audit, any specific scrutiny by any authorities including Customs, etc) related assessments & appeals and their timely completion and assisting in Internal & Statutory financial audits.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Liaison / dealing with Tax officials / government authorities.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Review and implementation of tax related internal controls (financial / operating), compliances and procedures.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance with relates to Income tax, Transfer pricing, GST, ROC, and other regulation affecting the operations are strictly complied.</li> </ul>   MIS <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Generating MIS reconcile statements and analyse data to assist top management in informed decision making.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Interpret the company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Other reports as required by the management.</li> </ul>   Finance, Banking & Treasury <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Funds Management, forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company’s borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions.</li> </ul>   <del cite="mailto:Prakash%20Bagla" datetime="2023-10-31T15:09">Corporate Planning & Systems</del> <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify"><del cite="mailto:Prakash%20Bagla" datetime="2023-10-31T15:09">Involvement in corporate planning.</del></li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify"><del cite="mailto:Prakash%20Bagla" datetime="2023-10-31T15:09">Involvement in formulation of various systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the company</del></li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify"><del cite="mailto:Prakash%20Bagla" datetime="2023-10-31T15:09">Involvement in Financial projection.</del></li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify"><del cite="mailto:Prakash%20Bagla" datetime="2023-10-31T15:09">Act as a chief financial spokesperson and advisor to the CFO and management in matter related with strategic and tactical variables.</del></li> </ul>   Budgeting & Forecasting <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Development of periodic financials forecasts, strategic planning, & budgeting.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Monitoring of operating and financial performance on a monthly basis. Ensuring operational adherence to Cost and Budgetary Controls.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis.</li> </ul> Costing and cost control, Pricing, Margin Management.   Commercial <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Monitoring of Receivables & Payables, cash position.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Contract management, Vendor management and Purchase.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Commercial matters, which includes Despatches, Warehousing, Logistics and Credit Control.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Inventory control and stock analysis.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Ensure proper costing /control, pricing, manage margins.</li> </ul>   Requirements and skills <ul> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Qualified CA with more than 15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles in a manufacturing company (preferred)</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Knowledge of Indian GAAP, IND AS, CARO, Income Tax, GST, Import and export related matters, Auditing standards & methodologies and applicable laws.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Proficient of SAP mandatory.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Having soft skills like leadership, self-initiative, presentation skills, effective time management, communication skills both verbally and written.</li> <li style="border:none; text-align:justify">Reports to management and CFO.</li> </ul>
