Siebel Data Migration

Job Summary

This role focuses on managing end-to-end Siebel Data Migration projects within the Telecom domain. The candidate will be responsible for handling multiple facets of data migration, including import, delete, export, and merge processes using Siebel EIM. They will work closely with key business stakeholders, act as a technical architect, and ensure smooth transition from legacy systems by designing, developing, and mapping the data migration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Siebel Data Migration projects, ensuring successful execution of import, delete, export, and merge processes.
• Gather requirements and lead the design and development phases of data migration projects.
• Understand legacy systems to perform effective data mapping and ensure accurate data flow.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve risks, issues, and assumptions during the migration lifecycle.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams, technical architects, and application designers to define data migration requirements.
• Review and provide inputs during the development of the data migration plan, ensuring adherence to quality management plans and standards.

Qualifications

• 5 to 14 years of experience in the IT/Telecom domain, with mandatory Telecom domain experience.
• Proven work experience in Siebel Data Migration (EIM) including import, delete, export, and merge processes.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, design, and development of Siebel Data Migration projects.
• Solid understanding of legacy systems and data mapping concepts.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL with a good understanding of Siebel data flow and the Siebel data model.
• Good knowledge of ETL tools and Data Stage.
• Experience in risk identification, communication, and resolution in a dynamic project environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with designing technical architectures for data migration.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with key business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work in customer-facing roles and liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with quality management standards in data migration deliverables.

Experience

• 5 to 14 years of relevant experience in IT projects, specifically in the Telecom domain and Siebel Data Migration.
