Job Summary

As an App Development Intern, you will work closely with our development team to build a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) application using AWS and React. This internship provides hands-on experience with both cloud infrastructure and front-end development, all while contributing to a project that aligns with our mission of environmental sustainability. The role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to develop their technical skills and gain exposure to impactful, real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement the LCA application's architecture using AWS services.
• Develop the front-end user interface with React, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
• Integrate APIs and back-end services to support robust data collection, analysis, and visualization.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and optimizing the application for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Document the development process and provide regular updates on project progress.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, and fundamental front-end development principles.
• Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Passion for sustainability and a genuine interest in Life Cycle Assessment methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based application development.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration.

Experience
