Category Leader – Furniture & Raw Materials (P&L Owner)

Job Summary

We’re looking for a seasoned Category Leader to take full ownership of our Furniture & Raw Materials vertical. This is a high-impact role that sits at the core of O ffi ce Banaao’s growth strategy, responsible for scaling the category while owning end-to-end Profit and Loss (P&L).

Responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership for the Furniture & Raw Materials category.
• Develop and execute growth strategies to expand revenue, optimize margins, and gain market share.
• Build and nurture strategic supplier and client relationships.
• Lead category pricing, cost control, and inventory planning.
• Collaborate closely with operations, sales, finance, and technology to drive execution excellence.
• Champion process automation and technology adoption across the category.
• Continuously monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to stay ahead.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing P&L in B2B procurement, ideally in furniture, interiors, or construction materials.
• Proven track record of scaling categories and delivering profitable outcomes.
• Strong commercial mindset with deep analytical and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-driven approach.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in digital procurement solutions and technology platforms.
• Familiarity with supply chain management tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices in workspace design.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role with a focus on P&L management and category expansion.

Environment

• The position is based in Gurgaon and is an on-site role, working closely with various teams across the organization.
