Job Summary
The Associate Manager Controllership is responsible for managing the statutory reporting process for complex DXC entities across various regions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with different Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and involves significant interaction with regional managers and auditors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end statutory reporting process for complex DXC entities independently.
- Prepare financial statements under various GAAPs, including IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Interface with regional statutory reporting managers, controllers, and corporate shared services teams.
- Coordinate the audit process remotely from Chennai/Bangalore with auditors located in different regions.
- Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts related to investments in subsidiaries and equity-related accounts.
- Support the controllership team on ongoing finance and business-related projects, including preparing detailed project evaluation reports.
- Lead and monitor a team for the assigned region, reviewing the progress of preparation and audit completion.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with more than 6 years of post-qualification experience.
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience in statutory reporting.
- Experience in financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
- Exposure to US GAAP or IFRS and/or tax reporting.
- Knowledge or working knowledge of SAP is preferable.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Additional experience in managing teams and projects would be beneficial.

- Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in statutory reporting.
