NowPurchase is transforming the 140B$ Metal Manufacturing industry. The metal industry<br /> forms the backbone of the economy and the fundamental block of the physical world - be it<br /> transportation, construction and every machinery.<br /> NowPurchase has built a managed marketplace marketplace where Metal Manufacturers<br /> (foundries & secondary steel plants) can procure high quality raw materials (scrap, pig iron,<br /> ferro alloys, additives, etc) in a trusted manner. At the same time our SaaS platform<br /> MetalCloud (charge mix optimisation & spectrometer IoT integration) increases production<br /> efficiency for factories. The end goal is to make procurement and production connected &<br /> autonomous.<br /> <br /> Who are we looking for?<br /> <br /> ● We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and ready to take the journey<br /> from 1 to 100<br /> ● Ability to build teams & work with other business heads across the company is going<br /> to be critical to be successful<br /> ● Previous experience with imports (any product category) and private labelling is a big<br /> big plus.<br /> <br /> What would you be expected to deliver?<br /> <br /> This role will require scaling the buy side of non scrap & metallics categories which includes<br /> ferroalloys, additives, nodularizers, etc. These categories have immense scope in terms of<br /> ensuring a complete experience for the customer & providing NowPurchase with the<br /> requisite blended margins.<br /> ● Scoping out using primary and secondary research which subcategories & SKUs could be<br /> tackled in what manner & plan of action for the same in terms of the problem & solution<br /> ● Ready to start off as an individual contributor & building a team which can tackle all<br /> aspects around domestic, imports & private labelling.<br /> ● Build OEM partnerships across India & the world for the relevant SKUs.<br /> ● Exploring potential acquisition opportunities of brands & assets.<br /> ● Working closely with P&L leaders in different regions to ensure correct demand planning<br /> & pricing to ensure maximum sales & margins.<br /> Qualification and Experience:<br /> ● Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engg Field. A relevant Masters or an MBA is a big plus.<br /> ● 5+ years of work experience<br /> ● Experience of starting up or working with startups is a plus<br /> ● Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective interaction with suppliers,<br /> government agencies, and internal teams.<br /> Compensation & Benefits:<br /> ● Compensation: Won’t be a blocker for the right candidate.<br /> ● Employee Stock Options ( ESOPs): We believe that this is a critical role & whoever<br /> joins should be part of the ownership of the company<br /> ● Medical Insurance: Benefits of group insurance for family including parents,<br /> spouse, children.<br /> <br /> Hiring Process:<br /> <br /> ● Screening of applicants & video discussion with HR<br /> ● F2F/Video discussion Founder & CEO<br /> ● Psychometric Assessment<br /> ● Final round interview with Directors<br /> ● Email communication on final feedback<br /> <br /> The end-to-end process shall take less than 20 days.
