Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Market Growth and Planning
- Identify and Penetrate New Markets: Proactively research and target potential clients within the Nuclear Power, Aerospace & Defence, and Factory Automation sectors in India and overseas.
- Opportunity Pipeline Management: Develop a robust, multi-year sales pipeline by tracking upcoming projects, tenders (RFP/RFQ), and long-term capital expenditure plans of strategic clients (e.g., DAE, NPCIL, ISRO, DRDO, major Automotive OEMs).
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including technical heads, procurement, and C-level executives in client organizations.
- Strategic Bid Management: Lead the entire bid process, coordinating with the Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and commercial agreements for large-scale, complex projects and custom-built machinery.
2. Sales and Technical Engagement
- Technical Consultation: Act as the primary technical point of contact, effectively articulating Avasarala’s capabilities in areas like precision machining, specialized fabrication, automation systems (Powertrain/ASRS), and nuclear handling equipment.
- Product Mapping: Understand customer technical challenges and requirements, and strategically match them with Avasarala’s core competencies and products (e.g., Heat Pipes for Space, Fuelling Machine Heads, customized Assembly Lines).
- Contract Negotiation: Successfully negotiate complex contracts, commercial terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.
3. Reporting and Forecasting
- Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence within the CRM system.
- Provide feedback to the Management and R&D teams regarding market trends, competitor activities, and new product/service requirements.
