Data engineer

Job Summary

This role is centered on the development, testing, and deployment of technical components based on specifications provided by the onshore team. The successful candidate will ensure effective resolution of production issues, participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards, and work closely with QA teams and onshore leads to align on tasks, timelines, and priorities. The role also involves assisting with system integrations, data migrations, and configuration efforts while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy technical components as per the onshore team’s specifications.
• Provide timely and effective resolution of production support tickets and technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Assist with system integrations, data migrations, and configuration efforts as required.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, procedures, and support materials.
• Collaborate with QA teams to support testing efforts and resolve defects.
• Maintain ongoing communication with onshore leads to ensure alignment on tasks, timelines, and priorities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Proficiency in Datavant, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python for data engineering and remediation tasks.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
