Job Summary
The Senior Executive – Accounts Payable will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across the company's global operations, including India, US, Thailand, and Singapore. This role involves overseeing material, capital expenditure (Capex), and services spend, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payables. The position offers extensive interaction with vendors and internal stakeholders worldwide, requiring proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite. The role is critical in maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and driving process improvements within the AP function.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end AP cycle: invoice receipt, verification, coding, approval routing, and payment processing for all entities across multiple geographies.
- Process invoices: handle two-way (PO/Invoice), three-way (PO/GRN/Invoice), and one-way (non-PO) transactions in accordance with company policies and thresholds.
- Ensure compliance: adhere to internal controls, statutory requirements, and local regulations (TDS, GST, withholding tax) in each geography.
- Vendor & stakeholder management: act as the primary contact for vendors, resolve queries, discrepancies, and payment issues promptly, and coordinate with procurement and business teams.
- System and process controls: maintain accurate AP transactions in NetSuite and other ERP tools, support audits, and identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Reporting & month-end close: ensure timely closing of AP activities, prepare aging reports, vendor payment status, and support cash flow forecasting.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 7–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a manufacturing organization.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AP automation and workflow tools.
- Understanding of statutory compliance requirements (TDS, GST, withholding tax) across India and internationally.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage high transaction volumes and multiple priorities.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-geography environment.
- Familiarity with AP processes in manufacturing or technology sectors.
- Knowledge of international tax and compliance standards.

Experience
- 7 to 8 years of professional experience in Accounts Payable management.
- Prior experience in a global or multi-entity manufacturing organization is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle AP across multiple spend categories—material, Capex, and services—across different geographies.
