Job Summary
The Senior Manager, FP&A will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vice President of FP&A by overseeing and analyzing the financial performance of our local/global business. This position is crucial for ensuring strategic financial management, providing insightful analysis, and driving financial planning initiatives within a diversified conglomerate. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of operations, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop, analyze, and present comprehensive financial reports and performance metrics for the local/global business.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers of financial performance and trends.
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts and budgets, incorporating various business scenarios and assumptions.

Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the Vice President and senior leadership to develop and implement strategic financial plans and initiatives for the business.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive financial performance improvements.

Business Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze financial and operational metrics to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance.

Data Integration & Management:
- Oversee the integration of financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage and enhance financial models, tools, and systems used for data analysis and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with business unit leaders, operations teams, and other stakeholders to gather insights and provide financial support for various initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
- Lead initiatives to streamline reporting processes and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Chartered Accountant, Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in related sectors.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and financial drivers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven experience with financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, BI tools).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
