Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Redshift Database Administrator to join our Digital Customer Solutions team. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize AWS databases, ensuring their security, performance, and availability. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to provide access to data for business insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Administer, tune, manage, and secure AWS Redshift deployments and enterprise data warehouses.
• Provide technical support for all database environments, including development, pre-production, and production.
• Set up, configure, and maintain cloud environments, working closely with Data Engineers (DE) and Cloud Engineering teams.
• Develop and implement automation solutions.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
• Optimize database security and manage data migration, backup, and recovery.
• Maintain database standards and document security processes.
• Design and document data structures and optimize data for consumption, collaborating with Data Visualization Engineers, Front-end Developers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers.
• Monitor lambda logs to ensure correct user permissions.
• Ensure end users have appropriate data access based on their roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 to 5+ years of DBA experience.
• Proficiency in AWS Redshift production environments.
• Experience with RLS policies, data masking, and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud systems.
• Expertise in MySQL, RDS, and AWS Redshift.
• Familiarity with database standards, SQL, and performance tuning.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DBT modeling and query writing.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and 3-NF techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization and machine learning concepts.

Experience

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in database administration and management within cloud environments.

Environment

• Offshore position located at any Neosoft office, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Indore, Noida, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Kolkata.
• Full-time role with immediate start.
