Job Summary The Sales Head will lead and drive PAN-India sales operations, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and market expansion. This role requires strong team handling experience, PAN India sales exposure and prior experience exclusively within the cutting tooling industry. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Management 1. Lead, manage, and mentor a PAN-India sales team, including Regional Sales Managers and Sales Executives. 2. Build a high-performance sales culture through coaching, performance reviews, and capability development. 3. Define clear roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and target allocations across regions. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth 4. Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with company objectives. 5. Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for PAN-India operations and ensure achievement. 6. Drive consistent revenue growth across all regions and key industry segments. Market Expansion & Business Development 7. Identify new markets, territories, and growth opportunities across India. 8. Oversee strategic key account acquisition and account expansion initiatives. 9. Strengthen presence in automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors on a national level. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement 10. Engage with senior decision-makers (CXOs, plant heads, procurement heads) for high-value deals. 11. Manage and resolve escalated customer issues to ensure long-term relationships. 12. Ensure excellence in pre-sales and post-sales support across all regions. Sales Operations & Forecasting 13. Review sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics across regions. 14. Ensure accurate sales reporting, CRM compliance, and data-driven decision-making. 15. Analyze regional performance trends and implement corrective actions where required. Cross-Functional Collaboration 16. Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to align customer requirements with product offerings. 17. Provide structured market feedback for product improvement and innovation. Market Intelligence & Brand Building 18. Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback across PAN India. 19. Representing the organization at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry forums nationally. Qualifications & Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. 2. 10–15 years of B2B sales experience strictly within the cutting tooling industry. Minimum 5–6 years of team handling experience, managing PAN-India or multi regional sales teams 3. Mandatory hands-on experience in PCD tools, Carbide Inserts, and CBN products. 4. Proven experience handling PAN-India sales operations. 5. Strong exposure to automotive, aerospace, and defense customers. 6. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed national sales targets. 7. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 8. Strong analytical mindset with expertise in sales forecasting and market analysis. 9. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
