Job Summary
The Global M365 Project Manager will lead a portfolio of projects within the Global Collaboration Services team. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects related to the Microsoft Office 365 suite—such as SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive—adhere to best practices in project management. The manager will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project initiation, execution, and closure, all while maintaining a customer-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of collaboration projects, including timelines, tasks, reporting, documentation, and steering committees.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) through the team's dashboard.
- Organize and lead project meetings, utilizing collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams for both physical and virtual settings.
- Create comprehensive project documentation, including Project Initiation Documents (PID), Risk Assessment and Communication Interfaces (RACI), and risk management outlines.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations to communicate project status updates and new initiatives.
- Maintain a positive working environment while balancing multiple projects and managing competing priorities.
Qualifications
- Education: Relevant degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Project Management.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in managing IT projects within large, globally-present companies.
- Certification: Knowledge or certification in project management (PMP or similar) is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools, especially SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Planner.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in English, with basic knowledge of French or Spanish considered a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to work autonomously.
Preferred Skills
- Additional knowledge in collaboration services and related productivity-based solutions.
- Experience in creating effective presentations using PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing IT projects in a large organization.
Environment
This role is based in Hyderabad, and is a contract position. The position may involve both in-office and remote collaboration, utilizing various digital tools for effective communication and project management.
