Euler Motors is looking to hire a to lead the Supply Chain Function. We need our Supply Chain
person to balance Strategic, Operational, Financial & People Responsibilities. With a minimum of
15 years of extensive experience, particularly in commercial vehicle or car OEM sectors, the
successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management,
including new product development, cost reduction, strategic sourcing, and budgeting.
● Strategic Responsibilities:
● Strategic Sourcing: Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to
optimize supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting processes.
● Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivating strong relationships with key
suppliers, fostering collaboration, and driving supplier performance improvement
initiatives.
● Market Analysis: Conducting market research, forecasting trends, and identifying
opportunities to capitalize on market dynamics for cost savings and competitive
advantage.
● Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, such as disruptions
in supply, geopolitical challenges, or economic uncertainties, to ensure supply chain
resilience.
● Technology Integration: Leveraging procurement technologies and digital tools to
streamline procurement processes, enhance visibility, and drive efficiency within the
supply chain.
● Operational Responsibilities:
● Procurement Process Management: Overseeing end-to-end procurement processes,
from requisition to payment, to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods
and services.
● Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitoring supplier performance metrics,
conducting supplier evaluations, and implementing corrective actions to address
underperformance and drive continuous improvement.

● Contract Management: Managing supplier contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure
compliance, mitigate risks, and optimize cost savings opportunities.
● Inventory Management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize
inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve inventory turnover rates while
maintaining stock availability.

● Financial Responsibilities:
● Budget Planning: Developing and managing the procurement budget, forecasting
expenditures, and controlling costs to align with organizational financial objectives.
● Cost Analysis and Negotiation: Analyzing cost structures, conducting cost-benefit
analyses, and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers to optimize pricing and cost
savings.
● Savings Targets: Setting savings targets, tracking cost reduction initiatives, and
identifying opportunities to drive procurement efficiencies that positively impact the
organization's financial performance.
● Budget Compliance: Ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, monitoring
spending, and identifying variances to maintain financial discipline within the
procurement function.
