Job Title: Head of Investor Services/ Senior Associate Location: Gurugram Department: Investor Services and Finance Job Summary: The Head of Investor Services serves as a key liaison between the UTI Alternatives team and a diverse range of stakeholders including investors, distributors, auditors, vendors, and internal departments. This role ensures seamless execution of investor servicing, regulatory compliance, fund reporting, and cross-functional coordination while upholding organizational values such as transparency, integrity, and stakeholder trust. Key Responsibilities: - - - - - - - - - - Investor Servicing: Serve as the primary point of contact for all investor queries and requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses in coordination with internal teams. Investor Reporting: Assist in the preparation and dissemination of monthly and quarterly investor reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory and internal standards. Principal Officer – PMLA: Act as the designated Principal Officer under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, ensuring compliance with all related regulatory requirements and internal controls. Fundraising Support: Support fundraising activities by presenting fund/product information and responding to investor due diligence requests in coordination with the sales and investment teams. Onboarding & KYC: Manage end-to-end onboarding of investors and distributors, including due diligence, documentation, KYC verification, and regulatory compliance. Distributor Commissions: Compute distributor commissions and ensure accurate and timely issuance of commission statements. Financial Operations: Handle monthly book closure for PMS clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Regulatory Reporting: Responsible for annual FATCA and CRS reporting (Form 61) in line with prescribed timelines. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with Registrar & Transfer Agents (RTAs) for maintaining the Unit Holder Register, facilitating investor communication, and data dissemination. Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to support the audit and closure of PMS books of accounts. - Cross-functional Liaison: Work closely with compliance, sales, finance, and investment teams to address and resolve investor-related queries efficiently and in a compliant manner. Preferred Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA or equivalent professional degree. 5+ years of experience in investor relations, fund operations, or financial services in a reputed organization. Working knowledge of AIF structures, regulatory frameworks, and financial instruments.
