Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the hospital plays a critical role in managing the financial actions of the organization. This position is responsible for monitoring cash flow, assessing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions. The CFO will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the hospital, ensuring financial stability and promoting sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee financial strategies to enhance the hospital’s financial performance.
• Manage fundraising efforts and develop relationships with investors for financial backing.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the healthcare industry.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to guide the hospital through potential Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).
• Present financial reports and insights to the board of directors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in financial management within the healthcare sector.
• Certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials are required.
• Skills: Strong expertise in fundraising, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare financial regulations and compliance.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Initial Public Offerings (IPO) preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and management tools specific to healthcare finances.

Experience

• A track record of successfully taking companies through fundraising and financial planning processes, particularly in the healthcare industry.
