Job Summary

The SM - Design role is crucial for overseeing the design process of redevelopment projects. This position involves analyzing project requirements, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring that design specifications align with company standards and client expectations. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of projects by ensuring timely delivery and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and calculate the area identified for future projects and draft the end product design for client presentation.
• Translate design ideas into comprehensive design briefs for design consultants and architects.
• Appoint consultants based on the analysis of proposals and brief them on project requirements, expectations, and timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams, including liaison, projects, and sales, to ensure alignment and consistency.
• Build consistency of product specifications in General Floor Area (GFA), General Floor Construction (GFC), and sales brochures to ensure zero deviation between concept, product, and sales pitch.
• Acquire necessary approvals for design and resources, such as materials for project construction.
• Track project progress and implement corrective actions regarding design as needed.
• Address and mitigate any queries raised during the construction process.
• Comply with company-defined guidelines and processes while adhering to project timelines.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Undertake process improvement activities within the work area.
• Identify personal and team development needs and pursue development through training, education, and projects.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of redevelopment by-laws and Development Control Regulations (DCR).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to the industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
• Experience in project management and design processes.
• Familiarity with statutory requirements and feasibility studies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
• Familiarity with project management software.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design and project management within the construction or real estate sector.

Environment

• Work setting is in-office, located in Hyderabad. The role requires collaboration with various teams and may involve site visits as necessary.
