Job Summary

The Endpoint Security Engineer (L2) is responsible for providing advanced support and threat analysis focused on maintaining and enhancing the security posture of the organization’s endpoints. This role plays a crucial part in safeguarding the organization’s IT infrastructure by managing endpoint security solutions and responding to security incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced (L2) level support and threat analysis using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR/ATP).
• Manage and optimize Windows Endpoint Security configurations across enterprise environments.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot various Anti-Virus solutions and Endpoint Protection tools.
• Analyze and respond to real-time security incidents and vulnerability alerts.
• Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC), IT, and compliance teams for risk assessments and enhancing overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification:
  • B.Tech or MCA in any stream.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in EDR platforms, especially Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Strong knowledge of Endpoint Protection, Windows security hardening, and Anti-Virus technologies.
  • Familiarity with incident response protocols and threat hunting techniques.
  • Experience working in IT security operations or similar L2 environments.

Preferred Skills

• Additional certifications related to cybersecurity or endpoint security would be a plus.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

Experience

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT security, specifically in endpoint security and threat analysis environments.

Environment

• This position is based in Mumbai and typically requires in-office presence to effectively collaborate with internal teams.
