Manager – Talent Acquisition (LAP)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment for the Loan Against Property (LAP) business. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end hiring across critical business functions, ensuring timely delivery of quality talent to support business expansion and growth objectives. The ideal candidate should bring strong experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) hiring, with a deep understanding of secured lending talent markets, stakeholder management, and recruitment planning in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for the LAP business across sales, operations, credit, risk, collections, and support functions.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand manpower plans, hiring priorities, and growth targets.
  • Design and execute hiring strategies to attract high-quality talent across locations.
  • Manage sourcing through multiple channels including consultants, job portals, referrals, and direct hiring.
  • Ensure strong turnaround time, quality of hire, and candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Drive market mapping and talent intelligence for niche and competitive roles.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as closures, aging positions, cost per hire, and offer-to-join ratios.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen talent attraction.
  • Guide and mentor a team of 2–3 recruiters to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Maintain governance, compliance, and process discipline across hiring activities.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with strong exposure to BFSI hiring.
  • Prior hiring experience in BLAP, LAP, Secured Loans, Mortgage, or related lending businesses is highly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
  • Proven experience in handling volume hiring in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work with data, dashboards, and recruitment Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Team handling experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in strategic recruitment planning.
  • Familiarity with digital recruitment tools and technologies.

Experience

  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition within the BFSI sector.
