Job Summary

The role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in programming within a Mainframe environment. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting solutions utilizing C programming language on Mainframe, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team and the completion of project goals.

Responsibilities

• Create and review technical design documents.
• Develop, test, and support solutions utilizing C on Mainframe.
• Collaborate with team leads to assess impact and provide project estimates.
• Provide support and on-the-job training to less experienced team members.
• Interact with the QA team to resolve testing issues.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Skills:
  • JCL (Job Control Language)
  • Mainframe in GUI
  • Proficiency in C programming language
• Technical Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in Mainframe C and SAS/C.
  • Strong development skills in C language.
  • Exposure to technical design creation.
  • Sound understanding of VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method) and JCL.
• Soft Skills:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently.
