Consultant - Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary

The Consultant - Strategic Sourcing will play a crucial role in driving new and existing product developments for specific brands. This position involves collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met, while also focusing on packaging and contract manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive new and existing product developments by collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project timelines.
• Catalog packaging-related stock items and establish processes for quick references.
• Conduct supplier capability mapping for packaging and contract manufacturing.
• Engage actively in new supplier integration, including working on contracts, licenses, SKU mapping, coordination for artwork, and cost sheet management.
• Periodically map forecast versus capacity for various packaging materials.
• Analyze, develop, and monitor the Standard Operating Budget (SOB) SKU-wise, guiding cross-functional teams for adherence.
• Perform monthly cost sheet reconciliation and indexation for contract manufacturers.
• Conduct demand versus supply analytics for products manufactured by contract manufacturers.
• Analyze raw material (RM) and packaging material (PM) price trends and support forecasting.
• Support process improvement projects in collaboration with IT teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and packaging domain is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with data.
• Excellent collaboration skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a keen interest in problem-solving and process improvement.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering).
