My Time Equity is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm based in Plano, Texas. We specialize in actively managed portfolio strategies that combine asset diversification, time diversification, and risk- managed models. Our mission is to help clients navigate market cycles with data-driven, emotion-free investment approaches. About the Role:<br /> The Operation Manager will oversee the firm’s operational infrastructure to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable support of our investment advisory, client service, and financial planning functions. This is a mission-critical leadership role focused on enhancing operational efficiency, managing vendor and custodial relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA), and optimizing the client experience across all operational touchpoints. Key Responsibilities:<br />
- Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting<br /> •<br /> Manage end-to-end fund accounting for hybrid private equity structures, including master-feeder and blocker entities.<br /> •<br /> Lead fund setup in Investran Live, covering legal entity creation, investor static data, and allocation rules.<br /> •<br /> Prepare and review NAV reports, including management fees (GPPS), carried interest, preferred returns, and investment portfolios.<br /> •<br /> Process capital activities such as capital calls, distributions, and partner transfers, along with investor notices and reconciliations.<br /> •<br /> Post journal entries for valuations, accruals, and fund expenses; ensure accurate financial reporting.<br />
- Compliance s Fund Oversight<br /> •<br /> Monitor investment compliance policies, reporting standards, and disclosure requirements in line with U.S. federal and state laws.<br /> •<br /> Collaborate with internal legal and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness and ensure adherence to all regulatory obligations.<br /> •<br /> Investor Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for all investor communications and reporting.<br /> •<br /> Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring transparency in fund performance and financial updates.<br /> •<br /> Oversee the dissemination of investor reports, performance summaries, and capital account statements.<br />
- Investment Monitoring s Analysis<br /> •<br /> Oversee monitoring of group investments, including asset allocation, portfolio diversification, and performance tracking.<br /> •<br /> Conduct detailed financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions and group strategy.<br /> •<br /> Generate insights and reports for management and stakeholders to guide capital allocation and risk management.<br />
- Team Development s Cross-Functional Collaboration<br /> •<br /> Mentor and guide operational and finance teams involved in fund management.<br /> •<br /> Coordinate with leadership across advisory, compliance, and finance to align investment strategies with business objectives.<br /> •<br /> Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence in investor relations.<br /> Qualifications and Skills<br /> ●<br /> Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree/MBA is strongly preferred.<br /> ●<br /> Experience: 3 – 10 years of progressive experience in financial services operations, ideally within wealth management, investment advisory, or RIA firms.<br /> ● Skills s Expertise:<br /> ○<br /> Proven ability to scale and optimize operations in a regulated environment.<br /> ○<br /> Strong knowledge of RIA business models, compliance requirements, and client service standards.<br /> ○<br /> Expertise in operational strategy, workflow optimization, and technology integration.<br /> ○<br /> Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
