B. KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Manager - Procurement will manage the procurement of raw materials, machinery, tools, and other essential equipment for the company. The role involves maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, managing procurement schedules, and supporting project management activities related to procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Imports of Raw Materials:
- Procure PCB, LED lamps, ICs, Components, and Metal parts.
- Imports of Raw Materials:
- Handle procurement of Cabinets, Plastic Housing, SMPS, Receiver cards, Cables, Connectors, etc.
- Imports of Machineries and Tools:
- Manage procurement of SMT lines, Post-SMT lines, and various production tools.
- Local Purchase of Tools, Racks, Storage & Material Handling Systems:
- Procure tools, racks, storage, and material handling systems, including packaging materials.
- Local Purchase of Factory Construction Materials & Electricals:
- Purchase construction materials, electrical items (cables, lights, switches), etc., for factory development.
- Local Purchase of Utilities:
- Procure DG sets, Transformers, Electrical Panels, RO Plants, HVAC systems, and Solar systems.
- Releasing Work Orders for Contractors:
- Release work orders for contractors in the Civil, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), etc.
- Price List Maintenance:
- Maintain and update the price list for all raw materials, ensuring cost forecasting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Track Procurement Activities:
- Monitor all procurement activities and ensure they are aligned with factory progress and project timelines.
- Follow-Up with Key Stakeholders:
- Regular follow-up with factory, freight forwarders, CHA, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Project Planning:
- Prepare the payment schedule for procurement activities and align it with project milestones.

C. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
|
|
Education:
- B.E/B. Tech in Engineering, MBA, or PGDM or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 6-10 Years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or project management within a manufacturing or engineering industry.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiar with procurement software and supply chain management tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
