Job Summary

The Sr Analyst II Controllership role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position contributes to the organization’s financial integrity by overseeing monthly close activities, managing statutory reporting processes, and maintaining relationships with Shared Services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial reporting supported by qualitative analysis in adherence to US GAAP.
• Ensure all significant transactions are complete and correct.
• Oversee monthly close activities performed by Shared Services.
• Review and approve accounting adjustments.
• Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to review monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for completeness and accuracy.
• Review balance sheet variance analyses and account reconciliations.
• Maintain relationships with Shared Services to ensure the integrity of financial records and accurate transaction processing in accordance with local statutory and tax requirements.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to invoicing and collection efforts concerning accounts receivable.
• Manage the statutory reporting process.

Qualifications

• CA qualified with 3+ years of experience in general accounting and controllership, preferably in the IT industry.
• Strong analytical skills to document balance and P&L movements and analyze cash flows.
• Knowledge of lease accounting and impairment of intangibles is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Revenue Accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting of tangibles and intangibles.
• Expertise in month-end close and reporting processes.
• General accounting knowledge.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in general accounting and controllership.
