Our comprehensive suite of services spans trust planning, treasury management, private equity, listed equity, fixed income, and more, offering the complete experience of an in-house, intergenerational Investment Committee.<br /> <br /> Role Summary<br /> <br /> We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Advisor to join our Multifamily Office. This role is ideal for an individual with a deep understanding of public and private markets, capital structuring, merger and acquisitions and client relationship management. The Strategic Advisor will work closely with, large family offices, ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families and individuals, providing tailored advice and guidance on IPO advisory, M&A opportunities, private market opportunities, tax planning, and other aspects of financial planning. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction for clients, ensuring long term growth, and aligning their wealth management goals with broader family objectives.<br /> <br /> Job Responsibilities: • Strategic Planning & Advisory: Provide strategic advice on private and public market opportunities to institutions, high net-worth families and individuals. Involved in capital market transaction advisory for IPO, open offers, QIP, along with private market buy/sell side mandates. Develop and implement tailored solutions for capital/organisation structuring ensuring alignment with clients long-term goals and values. • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing and nurturing long-term relationships built on trust and expertise. Lead regular client meetings to assess and adjust wealth management strategies, ensuring all goals are met efficiently. Understand clients’ financial needs, preferences, and unique situations, and recommend bespoke solutions. • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal and external advisors like Merchant Bankers, Private Equity firms, Venture Capital firms, tax professionals, estate planners, legal advisors, and other experts to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Provide input to internal teams on investment research, emerging market trends, and opportunities to enhance wealth growth and preservation. • Market & Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting wealth management and UHNW families. Use market insights to continuously refine and evolve strategic recommendations and offerings for clients. • Business Development: Support the firm’s business development efforts, identifying and cultivating new client relationships and referrals. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the firm’s reputation and grow the client base.<br /> <br /> Academic Qualification and Competency: • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrates a forward-thinking approach to problem-solving, with the ability to align client goals with long-term financial strategies and market trends. • Educational Background: Master’s or professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, CFP, CA). • Past Experience – min 5 years of M&A and capital market exposure with focus on PE/VC space • Financial Tools: Proficient in Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, or similar platforms. • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in relevant technology, with an understanding of automation and AI applications in finance. • Team Collaboration: Works effectively across departments to achieve common goals. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present complex concepts clearly.
