Executive - Payroll and reimbursement process The Payroll Processing Finance Executive will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. The role involves maintaining employee data, handling payroll queries, and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless payroll operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Payroll Processing: o Process monthly payroll accurately for all employees. o Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. o Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers. o Prepare and process all necessary payroll documentation and reports. 2. Compliance and Reporting: o Ensure compliance with statutory payroll requirements, including income tax, provident fund, ESI, gratuity, and professional tax. o Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings on time. o Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll information and documentation. 3. Employee Data Management: o Maintain accurate employee records and payroll data. o Handle employee queries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies. o Update payroll system with new hires, terminations, and changes in salary and benefits. 4. Financial Coordination: o Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. o Assist in budget preparation related to payroll expenses. o Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries and other employee payments. Qualifications and Skills: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a finance department. • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of payroll processes, statutory compliances, and financial principles. • Skills: o Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel. o Strong analytical and numerical skills. o Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. o Good communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
