Job Summary
The Senior Manager / Manager – Landscape at the Regional Office (RO) in Mumbai is responsible for the full execution of landscape design across various projects in the region. This role is execution-focused and entails driving consultants to create landscape designs that align with the company’s approved Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) and project timelines.
Responsibilities

Design Delivery & Coordination
- Appoint, brief, and manage landscape consultants for all regional projects.
- Drive consultants to produce concept decks, design development, Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, and presentation materials in line with the company’s USPs.
- Review and ensure timely approval of consultant deliverables.
- Align landscape design with architectural, structural, and services consultants to achieve integrated project outcomes.

Execution Monitoring & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor execution against design intent.
- Identify deviations, delays, or quality issues and implement corrective actions with contractors or Project Management Consultants (PMCs).
- Ensure the use of approved materials and adherence to sustainability and safety standards.
- Support Project and Procurement teams during tendering by finalizing Bill of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and vendor evaluations.

Project Management & Handovers
- Track and monitor landscape design timelines to align with master project schedules.
- Drive consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of landscape works.
- Ensure timely completion and handover of landscaped gardens adjacent to marketing offices through close coordination with the Marketing team.
- Deliver completed landscapes for phased project handovers to customers, ensuring high-quality finishes in accordance with company brand standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the regional landscape Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging consultants, internal teams, and the Head Office design team.
- Provide regular project status updates, red-flag reporting, and closure reports.
- Ensure consistency in implementing the project landscape USPs across all projects within the region.

Continuous Improvement
- Capture insights from regional projects and integrate them into the central design database for future projects.
- Stay updated on materials, vendors, and construction technologies suitable for regional execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in landscape design project management.
- Strong technical skills in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and local zoning laws.
Preferred Skills
- Certification from a recognized body in landscape architecture (e.g., Landscape Institute, APLD).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with local regulations and landscape best practices.
Experience
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in landscape design and project management.
Environment
The position is based in the Mumbai Regional Office, and is a full-time, permanent position. The role may require site visits and collaboration with different teams, making adaptability to various work environments essential.
