Senior Oracle Functional Consultant – Supply Chain Applications
Job Summary
The Senior Oracle Functional Consultant – Supply Chain Applications serves as a strategic interface to the business, focusing on the implementation, configuration, solution design, and support of Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications. This role is pivotal in defining functional requirements, overseeing configuration processes, and ensuring effective communication between IT groups and business users throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Manage business analysis processes, including requirements gathering, documentation, and scope definition with non-technical business user constituencies.
- Document, analyze, and prioritize business requirements aligned with business objectives, and transform these into technical action items.
- Engage with business users across multiple units to clearly articulate goals and processes, ensuring the delivery of effective technology solutions.
- Support business users by providing clarification to the Project, Development, and Production Support Teams for optimal solution design and implementation.
- Verify the feasibility of business requests in accordance with existing technical systems and data structures.
- Develop and present key requirements artifacts, including:
- Scope documents
- Use cases and functional designs
- Detailed specifications of key business rules
- Activity diagrams
- Business process mapping diagrams and documentation
- Application gap analysis
- Analyze applications data schema and provide insights as necessary.
- Collaborate with the IT Project Team to ensure timely project progression while identifying and mitigating risks related to IT solutions.
- Coordinate tasks of internal and external resources to complete assigned projects effectively and cost-efficiently.
- Ensure the security of confidential and proprietary information.
- May lead technical/functional teams or projects and foster cross-functional working relationships.
- Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions by identifying new methods and techniques.
- Research and implement strategic technological solutions.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience as an Oracle Applications Consultant or System Analyst/Manager.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle ERP application functionality.
- Deep understanding of Inventory Management, Product Data Management, Demand & Supply Planning, Shipping, and Transportation Management module configurations.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
- Proficiency in SQL-based queries and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Functional understanding of Oracle modules and development frameworks for extensions in Oracle Cloud.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Experience in 2-3 full lifecycle implementations in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and Demand & Supply Planning.
- Combination of business acumen and deep IT knowledge.
- Proven record in strategic project planning and client management.
- Experience managing teams and working with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
Experience
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in Oracle Applications Consulting, System Analysis, or related roles.
