Job Summary

Responsibilities

Investment & Portfolio Management
- Support the evaluation, execution, and ongoing monitoring of investment opportunities across multiple asset classes.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, market research, and due diligence on potential investments.
- Monitor portfolio performance, prepare periodic investment reports, and assist in asset allocation and strategy implementation.
- Track key fund performance metrics and benchmark results to ensure alignment with investment objectives.

Fund Operations
- Coordinate fund setup, onboarding processes, and ongoing operational activities.
- Maintain accurate records of fund transactions, investment documentation, and related records.
- Liaise with custodians, administrators, auditors, legal advisors, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Support Net Asset Value (NAV) review, fund accounting, and reconciliation processes.

Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements governing Specialised Investment Fund structures.
- Monitor adherence to investment mandates and fund-specific guidelines.
- Support regulatory filings, audits, and internal governance procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

Investor Relations & Reporting
- Prepare investor presentations, factsheets, performance reports, and fund updates.
- Respond promptly to investor queries and requests.
- Assist in fund marketing and capital-raising activities where applicable.
- Coordinate periodic communications with investors to ensure transparency and engagement.

Risk Management
- Monitor investment, liquidity, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Support risk assessment and mitigation activities.
- Escalate material risks and exceptions to management.
- Participate in investment committee and governance meetings as required.
Qualifications

Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of independent fund management experience, specifically in long-short equity strategies within an institutional setup.
- Managed assets under management (AUM) of at least INR 1000-1500 Crores in long-short strategies over recent years.
- Overall investment experience of 10-15 years in mutual funds, insurance, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), or Portfolio Management Services (PMS), with at least 5-7 years in fund management roles.
