Key Responsibilities: • Costing & Analysis:  o Accurately cost metal enclosures and busbars considering current market prices for raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum). o Analyze market trends in metal prices and their impact on project costs. o Develop and maintain cost models for various enclosure and busbar configurations. o Prepare cost comparisons and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Procurement:  o Generate Purchase Orders (POs) for metal enclosures and busbars. o Conduct timely follow-ups with vendors to ensure on-time delivery. o Track and maintain accurate delivery schedules and order status. o Negotiate prices and delivery terms with vendors. o Identify and develop new vendor relationships, with a focus on sourcing from Pune and Delhi regions. • Vendor Management:  o Manage vendor relationships, including performance evaluations and resolution of any issues. o Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. o Oversee vendor registration and onboarding processes. • Data Management & Reporting:  o Maintain detailed records of all purchase orders, deliveries, and costs in Excel. o Prepare and present weekly reports on enclosure and busbar purchase trends, costs, and market analysis. • Technical Skills:  o Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. o Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and industry best practices. o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and other relevant software. <br /> Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent. <br /> • 5-8 years of experience in cost estimation, procurement, or a related field within the metal fabrication industry. • Proven experience in costing and analyzing metal components. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong1 negotiation and vendor management skills. <br />
