Job Description
Knowledge & Skills (Must Have) :
- In depth understanding of IT solutions, technology and architecture (essential)
- Comprehensive understanding of the IT environment. (essential)
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, (SAFe is preferred) and a demonstrable familiarity with emergent technologies and trends. (essential)
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. (essential)
- In depth understanding of business processes and how business processes work (essential)
- open and co-operative interactions with regulators and auditors
- Solid technical and analytical skills, with ability to interpret & present data clearly
- Practical knowledge of IT service management e.g. ITIL3/4 and related toolsets (essential)
- Understanding of financial reporting methodologies, including Solvency II and IFRS4/17 (desirable)
- Solid and relevant experience, in a senior technology and change role within financial services, ideally with previous onshore experience.
- Experience of working in regulatory environments – especially life and pensions (desirable)
- Experience of implementing Finance systems (desirable)
- Prior experience of driving organisational strategy for technology, specifically relating to design and operating models to ensure suitable business alignment, as well as efficient and effective technology service delivery
- Strong people management and communication skills and a mindset focused on ensuing our stakeholders get the best levels of service.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands across the CFT landscape.

Experience:

Educational Qualification:
- ITIL3/4 Certification and related toolsets (desirable)
- CIMA or ACCA qualified or QBE (desirable)
