Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Oracle PL/SQL DB Developer with a robust background to contribute to our enterprise project needs. This role involves the development and optimization of database solutions, delivering high-quality, scalable PL/SQL programming to support various application requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Conduct performance tuning and query optimization to ensure database efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with teams on data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
  • Utilize tools like Toad, SQL Developer, and Oracle Enterprise Manager effectively.
  • Maintain version control using systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Implement Unix/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling, such as Cron and Autosys, as required.
  • Stay updated and apply knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c features and migration strategies in projects.
  • Contribute to Agile methodologies and DevOps CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
  • Strong expertise in advanced SQL and PL/SQL development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Proven experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Familiar with tools like Toad, SQL Developer, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional.
  • Preferred: Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) concerning database services.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for data integration.
  • Experience with data warehousing or business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with APEX, Oracle Forms/Reports, or Oracle EBS.

Experience

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

Environment

  • This position is remote with flexible hours, requiring availability from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (may require overlap with EST depending on project needs).

Salary

  • Budget: 1.2 LPM + GST.
