Selenium Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

The Selenium Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This role is crucial in enhancing the testing process and contributing to the overall success of the organization by delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium to validate application functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and create test cases.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Report and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.

Environment

• This position is in-office and will be based in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, or Pune.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹2,800,000 per annum.
