Job Summary

The Location Construction Head will oversee the execution of multistorey group housing projects over 5-50 acres, ensuring planning, estimation, scheduling, team selection, and quality control with a strong emphasis on timely delivery. This role is crucial for maintaining construction standards and adherence to safety measures while mentoring a team of project management engineers.

Responsibilities

• Execute multistorey group housing projects including planning, estimation, scheduling, team selection, quality control, and cost management with a focus on on-time delivery.
• Analyze and approve estimates, labor rates, and item rates, while monitoring construction costs.
• Develop and implement construction methods, checklists, and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with construction guidelines, standards, quality, and safety measures.
• Coordinate with consultants, services, and architectural teams to prepare cost-effective designs that are executable and maintainable.
• Hire, coach, and mentor a team of project management engineers to enhance team performance and skills.
• Audit project compliance with relevant Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Codes, National Building Code (NBC) guidelines, and other regulations.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery on-site for timely delivery and produce daily and monthly reports along with periodic site visits.
• Utilize ERP software, AutoCAD, MS Projects, and MS Excel effectively for project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (full-time/regular from a recognized engineering college or equivalent).
• Civil Engineering background with 18-25 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on site execution experience across multiple locations (mandatory).
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for hiring, coaching, and building high-performing teams.
• Capacity to measure success by achieving both customer satisfaction and project targets.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• Excellence in operational execution and ability to take quick actions when necessary.
