QA Playwright

Job Summary

The QA Playwright will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through the development and execution of automated tests. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of software quality and improving development efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework.
• Execute tests, log defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test cases.
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing for new functionalities.
• Continuously improve test strategies and frameworks for better test coverage and efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes and results.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Strong understanding of the Playwright testing framework and its features.
• Knowledge of test automation principles and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Previous experience in a QA role within a software development team.

Experience

Relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance, ideally within automated testing environments.
