Job Summary

The Tableau Developer will design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that facilitate business decision-making processes. By collaborating with stakeholders, this role aims to deliver effective data visualizations and integrate Tableau with SharePoint, ensuring seamless reporting and data management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.
  • Integrate Tableau with SharePoint (Online/On-Premise) for seamless report sharing, embedding, and collaboration.
  • Build end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) solutions including data modeling, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and performance optimization.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into Tableau visualizations and SharePoint-integrated solutions.
  • Enable row-level security, subscriptions, and scheduling for Tableau dashboards via Tableau Server/Online.
  • Ensure governance, version control, and access management of Tableau reports in SharePoint.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Tableau dashboards, SharePoint integration, and data connectivity.
  • Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Tableau with other enterprise applications via APIs or connectors.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Experience integrating Tableau with SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with APIs and integrating various enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Familiarity with other BI tools or platforms.
  • Certification in Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist).

Experience

  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Tableau development and data visualization.
