Job Summary
The Tableau Developer will design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that facilitate business decision-making processes. By collaborating with stakeholders, this role aims to deliver effective data visualizations and integrate Tableau with SharePoint, ensuring seamless reporting and data management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Integrate Tableau with SharePoint (Online/On-Premise) for seamless report sharing, embedding, and collaboration.
- Build end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) solutions including data modeling, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and performance optimization.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into Tableau visualizations and SharePoint-integrated solutions.
- Enable row-level security, subscriptions, and scheduling for Tableau dashboards via Tableau Server/Online.
- Ensure governance, version control, and access management of Tableau reports in SharePoint.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Tableau dashboards, SharePoint integration, and data connectivity.
- Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Tableau with other enterprise applications via APIs or connectors.
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience integrating Tableau with SharePoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with APIs and integrating various enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Familiarity with other BI tools or platforms.
- Certification in Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist).
Experience
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Tableau development and data visualization.
