Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for improving the collaboration between development and operations teams. This role aims to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve process efficiency.
• Optimize deployment processes and enhance system reliability.
• Implement and manage containerization and cluster management infrastructures.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery measures are in place.
• Automate setup and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot service mesh setups and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar field.
• Technological Skills:
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) mandatory.
  • Very good knowledge and operational experience with containerization and cluster management technologies (Kubernetes, vCluster, Docker, Helm).
  • Proficient in high availability requirements (Recovery Time Objective and Recovery Point Objective) on cloud platforms, preferably AWS (with VPC, Subnet, ELB, Secrets manager, EBS Snapshots, EC2 Security groups, ECS, Cloudwatch, and SQS).
  • Strong expertise in administering Linux clients and servers.
  • Experience with data storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions using DynamoDB, RDS PostgreSQL, and S3.
  • Good experience and confidence with code versioning tools, preferably Gitlab.
  • Proficient in automation using programming and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts with Python/Terraform.
  • Experience in SSO setup and user management with Keycloak and/or Okta SSO.
  • Familiarity with service mesh monitoring and management tools (Istio, Kiali, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus).
  • Experience with GitOps setup and management for ArgoCD/FluxCD.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience with cloud technologies beyond AWS.
• Knowledge of compliance and security best practices in DevOps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
