Assistant Manager - International Sales

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager - International Sales is responsible for achieving international sales targets, enhancing client communication, and developing effective sales strategies. This role plays a crucial part in promoting and selling products in India and other targeted regions, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    • Achieve international sales targets in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
    • Prioritize the promotion and sale of products within India and other targeted regions.
    • Onboard and develop new domestic partners for international markets.
  • Client Communication and Product Information:

    • Manage visits and closures of international clients visiting project sites.
    • Provide detailed information about products to clients.
    • Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and compliance with international quality standards.
    • Address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Sales Strategy:

    • Drive international sales by leveraging loyalty programs, referrals, and corporate channels.
    • Maintain a comprehensive database of sales-related information for international transactions.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely follow-up.
  • Lead Collation and Follow-Up:

    • Regularly collate and track international leads from various sources (trade shows, referrals, online platforms, etc.).
    • Encourage domestic channel partners to generate leads from international markets through focused marketing campaigns.
    • Proactively follow up with potential clients to nurture leads.
    • Travel for international exhibitions and road shows as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: MBA in Marketing.
  • Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry; international sales experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
