DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support the development and deployment of an AI-powered solution. This role involves building and managing cloud-native Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, containerized deployments, and scalable infrastructure to enable seamless integration of AI/ML models, data services, and audit dashboards. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, compliance, and performance of the solution in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python, AI/ML, and front-end components.
• Automate deployment of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Apps.
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud services including Blob Storage, Functions, Cosmos DB, Cognitive Search, and ML Studio.
• Set up infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/ARM templates for scalable and repeatable environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stack.
• Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and SOX by integrating audit logging, access controls, and secure pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and AI teams to enable smooth integration of ML models and APIs.
• Optimize performance and costs of cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability.
• Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and release management.
• Champion DevOps best practices, automation-first culture, and shift-left testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in cloud-native environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud (Functions, Blob Storage, ML Studio, Container Apps, Cognitive Search).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Proficiency with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible).
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
• Familiarity with Python-based deployments and integration of AI/ML pipelines.
• Experience implementing security, compliance, and audit controls in regulated industries.
• Good problem-solving skills, performance tuning, and cost optimization expertise.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in deploying Generative AI/NLP models (LangChain, RAG, LLaMA, OpenAI API).
• Knowledge of multi-tenant data lake architecture.
• Familiarity with test automation pipelines (Playwright, PyTest).

Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer focusing on cloud-native solutions.
