We're partnering with a leading, investor-backed electric vehicle (EV) mobility platform to hire a Finance Controller. This organization is at the intersection of electric mobility, technology, and infrastructure, focusing on building a scalable finance function for a rapidly growing business.

Job Summary

The Finance Controller will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will play a key role in establishing and managing the financial aspects of the organization. The role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of financial processes, compliance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial controllership, reporting, and compliance efforts within the company.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, and working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Oversee inventory, fixed assets, capital expenditure accounting, and maintain effective internal controls.
• Ensure adherence to statutory, tax, and audit compliance requirements.
• Drive improvements in finance processes, optimize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in Financial Controllership, Treasury management, Inventory control, Fixed Assets oversight, and ensuring Compliance.
• Background in asset-heavy industries such as Electric Vehicles (EV), Mobility, Logistics, Manufacturing, Automotive, Infrastructure, or Transportation.
• Proven skills in stakeholder management and a track record of driving process improvements and establishing robust internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
• Exposure to risk management and strategic financial planning.
• Leadership experience in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance-related roles, specifically in areas pertaining to controllership, treasury, and compliance.
