Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented ETL Testing and SQL Development Specialist with 3 to 6 years of experience in ETL testing, SQL development & testing and the retail domain. This role involves ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data within our systems, contributing to the overall quality of our data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure understanding of data quality needs.
• Identify and document defects and communicate them effectively to the development team.
• Support data migration activities and ensure successful data delivery.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in ETL testing and SQL development.
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for data analysis.
• Experience in data warehousing concepts and related technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the retail domain, understanding of retail processes and data.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and testing frameworks.
