Job Description
1. Supplier Management:
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting market research to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, discounts, and favorable payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to develop a robust supplier base that aligns with our business needs.
2. Purchase Orders and Inventory Management:
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory management team to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement of goods.
3. Cost Analysis and Budgeting:
- Assist in analyzing pricing trends, market fluctuations, and other factors to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Contribute to budget planning and cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
4. Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to procurement activities.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics, to ensure seamless procurement-to-delivery processes.
- Support the Purchase Manager in strategic planning, vendor selection, and overall procurement strategy development.
