Video Editor

Job Summary

The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and technical proficiency in video editing software. The position contributes directly to the organization’s content creation goals and enhances the company’s visual communication efforts.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into cohesive, engaging finished products.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to achieve the desired creative vision.
• Add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to enhance video content.
• Review and make revisions based on feedback from the creative team.
• Ensure all edits are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Maintain organized project files and backup copies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing or a related field.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Communication, or related field preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects).
• Knowledge of color grading and sound design.
• Familiarity with social media video formats and trends.
• Creative portfolio showcasing previous editing work.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in video editing.
• Experience with both internship and full-time roles will be considered.

Environment

• Location: Jaipur
• Work setting: May include both in-office and remote work, depending on project requirements.
• May require working flexible hours to meet deadlines.

Salary

• ₹150,000 – ₹450,000 per annum
