Job Description – Head of P&L & Operations (Fundly)

Role Overview
The Head of P&L & Operations will drive business growth, financial performance, operational efficiency, and scalability for Fundly. This role will own end-to-end business operations, profitability, strategic planning, supply chain excellence, and cross-functional leadership to accelerate expansion while maintaining strong unit economics.

 


Key Responsibilities

P&L Ownership & Business Strategy

  • End-to-end ownership of business P&L including revenue growth, cost optimization, profitability improvement, and financial governance

  • Develop growth strategy, annual operating plan, financial forecasts, and scalable business models

  • Drive continuous improvement in margins, unit economics, and capital efficiency

  • Lead expansion initiatives, setting business direction aligned with leadership objectives

Operations & Supply Chain Leadership

  • Build and scale national operational infrastructure including logistics, warehousing, demand-supply planning, and fulfillment

  • Establish sustainable processes to improve operational reliability, delivery efficiency, and service levels

  • Optimize supply chain cost structures including first-mile, middle-mile, and last-mile operations

  • Implement technology-led operational excellence and automation initiatives

Sales & Revenue Enablement

  • Align sales and operations planning to support business expansion and revenue delivery

  • Build forecasting models, demand planning structures, and business performance dashboards

  • Strengthen customer lifecycle management and drive customer retention and repeat growth

Governance, Performance & Risk Management

  • Define business KPIs, operational SLAs, and performance governance frameworks

  • Lead strategic business reviews with leadership and key stakeholders

  • Run cost optimization, efficiency improvement, and productivity enhancement programs

  • Lead large cross-functional & senior leadership teams to deliver results at scale

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with Founders, Finance, Sales, Product, and Technology to drive company-wide outcomes

  • Manage strategic vendor relationships, negotiations, and partnerships

  • Build and mentor high-performance operations & business leadership teams

 


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 12–18 years of experience in P&L leadership, large-scale operations, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, or retail

  • Proven experience in business scaling, cost optimization, and large-team leadership

  • Strong expertise in demand planning, S&OP, supply chain, logistics, and operational excellence

  • Experience handling multi-city / national operations with large workforce management

  • Data-driven, execution-oriented leader with strong problem-solving mindset

 

Education

  • Master’s in Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations or equivalent preferred
