  • Develop and execute strategy: Set KPIs, operating cadence, and oversee results, initially working with the current agency and eventually building an in-house team.
  • Agency management and transition: Lead the current agency to meet higher standards, renegotiate scope, and design the internal Amazon team, including hiring and creating operational playbooks.
  • Retail operations and catalog management: Oversee listing quality, PDP CRO, inventory health, buy box management, pricing, MAP, chargebacks, Brand Registry, Vine, deals, and promotional calendar planning.
  • Systems and cross-functional collaboration: Build scalable bid, budget, and decision systems; pilot new placements and formats; partner with creative, retention, and DTC media teams; implement AI-driven workflows and automation.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP.
  • Hands-on experience with Seller Central and Vendor Central, including catalog management, Brand Registry, and retail operations.
  • Track record of scaling Amazon businesses within the $10M–$50M+ revenue range.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop bid, budget, and pause decision systems.
  • Strong understanding of contribution-margin-first thinking, including FBA economics, fees, returns, and deal math.
  • Experience managing and elevating performance agencies, including restructuring or transitioning functions in-house.
  • Proficiency with Amazon API scripting, SQL, and automation tools.
  • Educational qualifications: Relevant degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of long-tail growth levers such as Vine, Subscribe & Save.
  • Familiarity with retail media beyond Amazon, including Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and Instacart Ads.
  • Experience scaling consumer brands across multiple e-commerce and retail channels.
  • International marketplace experience (Canada, UK, EU, Mexico).
  • Ability to operate during U.S. eastern time zone hours in a remote setting.

Experience

  • Proven success in scaling Amazon revenue and managing large advertising budgets.
  • Experience in building or restructuring in-house Amazon teams and managing agency relationships.
