Job Summary

The OCI Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources. The engineer will utilize their expertise in cloud services and infrastructure management to build, maintain, and enhance cloud environments that meet organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud solutions utilizing OCI core services including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services.
• Build fault-tolerant architectures using OCI’s availability domains and backup services to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Utilize Terraform for provisioning OCI resources in an automated and repeatable manner.
• Automate tasks and workflows using the OCI command-line interface (CLI) and software development kits (SDKs).
• Employ OCI cost management tools to monitor and optimize infrastructure costs effectively.
• Optimize resource performance and scalability to reduce waste and improve overall efficiency of cloud resources.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of OCI core services such as Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience with the OCI command-line interface (CLI) and SDKs.
• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery architectures using OCI.
• Familiarity with OCI cost management and resource optimization techniques.
• Preferred: Certification as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional.
