Job Summary

The Analyst 1 Infrastructure Services role is designed to support and manage VMware and Windows server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. This position plays a critical role in the organization's infrastructure by implementing and managing virtualization solutions, monitoring system performance, and ensuring security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle VMware vCenter (6.0, 7.0, 8.0) and ESXi (6.0, 7.0, 8.0) for VM creation, snapshots, cloning, and performance monitoring.
• Utilize advanced VMware features such as High Availability (HA), Fault Tolerance (FT), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and VMotion.
• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter servers.
• Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patch management, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized and Windows server environments.
• Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with VMware vCenter and ESXi versions (6.0, 7.0, 8.0).
• Proficient in Windows Server versions (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
• Experience with EMC, 3PAR, and PURE Storage.
• Familiarity with backup tools, specifically IBM Tivoli Manager.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows failover clustering.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools for VMware and Windows systems.

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure services, specifically with VMware and Windows server environments.

Environment

• The position is based in a hybrid work mode, with potential locations including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, and Gurugram.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹1,000,000 per annum.
