Job Summary
The Sales Head will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy for a luxury jewellery brand specializing in high-value gemstones. This role demands deep expertise in luxury sales, strong market intelligence, and exceptional relationship-building skills with high net-worth clients. As the Sales Head, you will lead and grow the sales team, elevate client engagement, expand global channels, and ensure premium brand representation across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets; identify high-potential markets, clientele segments, and expansion opportunities such as global retail partners and online luxury marketplaces; monitor sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline tracking across regions.
- Client Relationship Management (HNI & UHNI): Build long-term relationships with High Net-Worth Individuals (HNI) and Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals (UHNI), private collectors, gem investors, and elite buyers; lead exclusive client engagement activities including private viewings, trunk shows, and customized gemstone consultations; ensure exceptional CRM standards, personalized service, and repeat business.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team with a strong luxury service culture; conduct training sessions on gemstone knowledge, sales techniques, client etiquette, and brand storytelling; set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), evaluate performance, and ensure team alignment with brand values.
- Market & Product Intelligence: Stay updated on global gemstone trends, pricing, sourcing, and emerging luxury markets; work closely with design and merchandising teams to ensure offerings match client tastes and market trends; provide insights for new product launches, limited-edition designs, and bespoke jewellery offerings.
- Partnerships & Business Development: Develop collaborations with luxury retailers, premium boutiques, travel retail, and international distributors; build beneficial partnerships with luxury event organizers, lifestyle clubs, and private wealth networks; represent the brand in trade shows, international jewellery exhibitions, and premium events.
- Brand Positioning & Experience: Maintain high standards of brand presentation, visual merchandising, and store/client experience; collaborate with marketing to implement campaigns targeting luxury segments; oversee luxury customer service protocols and ensure seamless client journeys.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8–12+ years in luxury jewellery or high-value luxury goods, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership position; strong track record of driving multimillion-dollar sales in fine jewellery or gemstone-led product lines; experience managing HNI/UHNI clients and elite international markets is preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
